Jason Wu for Target - Exclusive Photos - First look (well a tiny sneak peek)
I have an Exclusive! I was contacted by
Target with a few exclusive photos and fresh intelligence to share with my readers. Obvs! I love to talk about Target, and I would have to say that I am the undefeated champion of Target collaborations and Go International lines -
video proof
It's been about 48 hours since we found out that Target has tapped Jason Wu for it's next designer collection. We also learned that it was going to be a excruciatingly long time until we would be able to get our hands on it, February 5th, 2012. We let out a collective sigh and started to tried to regain our composure and return to the "Wu - less" lives most of us are all currently leading. Only 122 days to go...

"My collection for Target embodies my signature aesthetic of feminine sophistication, with a mischievous nod to the 1960s,” said Taiwan born, New York based designer Jason Wu. Catapulted into the fashion stratosphere and instantly made a household name by Michelle Obama, (the inauguration dress that launched at thousand shoulders) Jason says one of inspirations for the collection was a little black cat accessorized with a red neck scarf. The collection will be priced from $20 - $60 and will include clothes, handbags and silk scarves.

According to Target the collection will be contemporary and feminine with whimsical prints and patterns (yellow and teal wheels, black and grey wheels, a nude and black floral lace print, and a blue with a white and yellow floral motif). We can look forward to separates that transition day to evening, charming and sophisticated dresses. Wu stated “I’ve had an incredible experience partnering with Target and I am looking forward to bringing these affordable designs to women across the country,”.
