Topshop CHICAGO - Media Preview and Launch / Runway Show

The second city landed the second topshop this side of the pond. If you don't know about this already, close your browser and refresh your life! And yes, New York, we know you had one first, let us have our moment. And don't worry Vegas (yes Vegas, you're next). Rahm was there, so you know it's a big f'ing deal.

The fine folks at zapwater were kind enough to extend an invite to me to the media preview Wednesday to get a sneak peak at the new store and to the opening event and runway show for FNO, although it took place in the morning, so it was fashion's morning out.

I stan for all things british (royalty, kate moss, clotted cream) and have shopped topshop online many times and I can tell you they have some of the most powerhouse, innovative designs of ANY retailer in their market space. If you follow their shows at London Fashion Week well, enough said.

Loads of pics. Miley Cyrus was here. First floor women's apparel, Second floor Topman, Basement apparel and shoes. British sizing so it's stingy, and no 1/2 sizes. I have a feeling we'll see a lot of fashionable Chicagoans flashing pink heels when they are not wearing their red soled Louboutin (I will give you a wink of acknowledgement). Tons and I mean tons of jewelry and accessories and DON'T FORGET, makeup!! They have amazing blush.

Not to Miss - There are items that are exclusive to Chicago. Nail varnish in "Windy City" blue. Three words - Dalmatian Spotted Sweater (Topshop Unique, Burberry)
