0 Nike is teaming up with Chicago Blogger Network to Launch the Chicago LunarGlide+3 Shoe

Kelly over at chicagobloggernetwork.com was kind enough to loop me in on this event Saturday (like tomorrow folks). Food, drinks, DJ Markyboy, and Chicago's twitter elite.

Nike is holding an event 10/1/11 to celebrate the launch of the Chicago LunarGlide+3 shoe designed by local Chicago artist Tara D.  The LunarGlide+3, a running shoe that delivers superior stability, ultra-soft cushioning and a secure fit, just in time for the Oct. 9 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

Now, we all know I won't be running any marathons anytime soon but it will be my pleasure to meet Tara D. who credits the city of Chicago as her muse; she is inspired by old signage buried throughout the city and of course, the lakefront. FETCH.

You are invited!  It will be great to see members of the Chicago Blogger Network as well as meet YOU. Tweet me if you're coming @chicagostyle so I know to look for you.

NO BS FTC STATEMENT - Since we cannot live in stilettos, platforms, and wedges alone... Nike is going to gift me with a pair of LunarGlide+3.

A Lifestyle and Fashion Blog for Women. I'm a thirty something in Chicago with taste for luxury and an appreciation for thrifty discoveries. Addicted to diffusion lines, collecting Louboutin, notorious handbag hoarder. Written for influential women and authentic tastemakers. I will tell you what I like, what I hate. I will ask your opinion about things I'm up in the air about.

It's really sad...

The recession is everywhere. But at least they are having good sales," said Olsen, who pointed to her hat. "That's where I got this! The recession!
